Research On Distribution And Classification Of Dialects In Jingdezhen

The situation of the dialects in Northeast Jiangxi Province is complex. Jingdezhen, which lies in this region, has the similar complex situation of dialects. And its location as a contiguous area of Hui Dialect and Gan dialect even adds more complexity to the situation. The existing academic works mostly do not clearly expound the dialect properties in this area.Based on this author's phonetic survey, this thesis sums up the phonetic features of key words in the eight dialect areas in this region and classifies them by comparing the phonetic features of Hui Dialect and Gan Dialect. The dialect in Yushan, Taiji, Fenglin and Gucheng village in Changjiang District and Wanshan village in Leping County, to some extent, is influenced by Hui Dialect, but it still belongs to Gan Dialect, while the dialect in Banlugang and Xianghu village in Fuliang County is greatly influenced by Gan Dialect and its features of Hui Dialect are losing though it still belongs to Hui Dialect. And the dialect of Dalong village in Fuliang County has already been converted from Hui Dialect into Gan Dialect.
