Study On The Phonology Of Tanjiaqiao Dialect In Huangshan City,anhui Province

There are massive differences inside the Hui Dialect which has complicated phonetic features.The study of Hui Dialect has also received increasing attention from academic circles.The Tanjiaqiao dialect lies between Jingde area of Hui Dialect,Jishe area of Hui Dialect,Xiuyi area of Hui Dialect and Xuanzhou area of Wu dialect.Due to the special geographical location of Tanjiaqiao,the contact and integration of its dialects with surrounding dialects is obvious.Concerned about where it is located and its own phonetic distinction,Tanjiaqiao dialect has its potential to look into.This thesis focuses on the Tanjiaqiao dialect in Huangshan District,Huangshan City,Anhui Province.Through the comparison between Tanjiaqiao dialect and Guangyun-Chinese middle-ancient pronunciations,the characteristics of its phonological features are summarized.The Tanjiaqiao dialect is compared to the phonetic systems of nine regions,namely,Jixi,Ji county,Tunxi,Xiuning,Yi county,Tangkou,Qi men,Wuyuan,Xianyuan,to obtain the existing difference of the dialect of this area and summarize the common phonetic characteristics between Tanjiaqiao dialect and nearby dialects,and ultimately confirm the origin of the Tanjiaqiao dialect.The main body of the thesis consists of five chapters.The first chapter is introduction,mainly introduce the general situation of Tanjiaqiao,as well as the related research of Tanjiaqiao dialect.The second chapter,make a phonological description of the Tanjiaqiao dialect,and comparison with Middle Chinese.The third chapter,comparing the phonology of the Tanjiaqiao dialect with that of nine regions,namely,Jixi,Ji county,Tunxi,Xiuning,Yi county,Tangkou,Qi men,Wuyuan,Xianyuan,it summarizes the similarities and differences in terms of initials,vowels,and tone.The forth chapter,make a special study on the characteristics of the Tanjiaqiao dialect.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,summarizes the analysis and comparison of the whole thesis,and points out the innovations and deficiencies.It is found that the Tanjiaqiao dialect has the phonetic features of the transition zone of the three dialects area of Xuanzhou,Jishe,and Xiuyi.The Tanjiaqiao dialect is closer to the Hui language on the initials.The vowels have similarities with the Hui language and the Wu dialect of Xuzhou.The tone is simplified to five tones.Because the phonetic features of the Tanjiaqiao dialect and the Jishe area of Hui Dialect are closer,it is more reasonable to conclude that it is included in Jishe area of Hui Dialect.It also provides materials for the study of Hui dialect,and has some reference value for the study of dialects in Huizhou and the dialect transition area.
