Study On "Yun" In Chinese Ancient Poetic Theory

"Yun" was one of the most important categories in the category system of Ancient literature of China, especially in poetic theory. And in addition, "yun" was the thing that can determine a poem or not, thus most poets pursue. So this article tries to research the "yun" category from longitudinal aspect and crosswise one, just in poetic theory.In longitudinal aspect, the article analyses the development of "yun" in poetic theory history of China, mainly elaborated the dynamic cause and performance characteristics. The development of the poetic theory of "yun" can be divided into four stages: the Wei. Jin. South-north and Tang Dynasty was the breeding and establishing stage, the Song Dynasty was the developing and deepening stage, the Ming Dynasty was the flourishing and maturing stage, and the Qing Dynasty was the perfecting and ending stage.In crosswise aspect, the article, mainly from the following three angles explain the characteristics and connotation of the "yun". First, to analyze the development and connotation characteristics of the "yun". Second, to elaborate several second-level categories of the "yun", namely "shen yun". "qi yun". "ge yun". Third, to discriminate and analyze of meaning of the two couples respectively: "yun" and "wei", "yun" and "qu".
