Research Into Style Of Folk Dances Of Chinese Ethnic Groups Since 1980s

In this article, the author, with the hope to discover the successful experience, the current problems in the folk dances, based on massive existing data, analyses the creation background of folk dances of Chinese ethnic groups since 1980s, sums up the characteristics of works of art and give research on its styles, by studying audio and video products of dances and by adopting the research methods of combining longitudinal study in development of dances and horizontal study in characteristics of arts, and of combining theory and practical works,.This article includes introduction, three chapters and conclusion parts. Chapter One focuses on the creation background of folk dances of Chinese ethnic groups; Chapter Two talks about the style of the works of folk dances of Chinese ethnic groups since 1980s from performers, themes, vocabularies, space, properties and music; Chapter Three tells us the successful experience, the current problems and development of creation in folk dances of Chinese ethnic groups since 1980s. In the conclusion part the author gives us her brief view on creation of folk dances of Chinese ethnic groups since 1980s.
