The culture is a reflection of society existent. reflects each realm of society from different layers, also has very big function in maintaining and altering social condition in the meantime. To some extent, on a certain development of social productivity, the culture has a decisive influence to the society and its change. The total characteristics of culture in the period of social transformation shows diversified dominances, old alternating new, and comprehensive innovation.That is, the Chinese culture is being on the crossroad of history and modern times, east and west, indicating a feature of coexistence of various factor.From the view of static change, our sense of values in the period of society transformation, presents the feature of one dominance with others coexisting. From the view of dynamic change, our sense of value in this period presents the feature of old alternating new, and comprehensive innovation.Secondly, demonstrate the regulation and motivity in the period of social transformation.As to the regulation, the writer illustrates it from three aspects. The first is from the possibility of cultural generation. The second is from the direction of cultural transformation .The third is from principle of cultural generation.Through the analysis of the regulation, the writer paves way for the further analysis of transformation.As for the motivity, the writer put his efforts on objective request of social transformation to culture. That is, the demands of race crisis and social development are decisive to the choice and reformation of the east and west culture, decisive to the change and development of modern cultural thoughts, so it is a basic motivity of Chinese cultural transformation and the newly cultural generation. Compared with it, global influences and the vital factors in the Chinese traditional culture are just secondary reasons.Thirdly, analyze the culture generation and transformation in the whole to promote the cultural consciousness which will play a leading role in the social transformationSpeaking wholly, in course of value reconstruction,the transformation shows five trends and six priorities. Five trends are, trend that from traditional value to modern value, trend that from others-oriented to self-oriented, trend that from duty-oriented to benefit-oriented, trend that from collective to individual, trend that from idealism to realism. Six priorities are that, modern value is prior to traditional value; personal value is prior to social value; affection value is prior to cognition value; humanity value is prior to tool value; tool value is prior to evaluation value. The basic principle of Chinese traditional culture transformation and newly cultural generation:The first, on value orientation, it is clung to the principle of putting people first. Second, on the bankground of cultural transformation, temporal spirit is stressed. The generation and transformation should keep pace with the times and democracy, reason and freedom should become main melody. Third, cultural transformation pattern is of harmony and integrity. Fouth, much importance is attached to both internal creative construction and exterior critical construction and get internal vitality and exterior motivity combined together. Fifth, on cultural transformation techniques, to combine the environment edification and cultural pervasion step by step. According to the above basic principles, the writer, taking values as core, demonstrates the cultural transformation with descriptive method.
