The research object of this article is fools' images in Jane Austen's works. The article attempts to summarize her love concepts and class notions by analyzing the images and comparing them with wise people. It concludes Austen's unique thinking framework and artistic value as well. It exposes her different fiction style with the previous. The whole text is constituted by the following three chapters.The first chapter is about the fools in Jane Austen's works. This chapter emphasizes on sorts and characteristics of the fools. Section One argues the characteristics and the definitions of the fools, and presents the background of class behind the characteristics and the definitions. The second section exhibits the images of all kinds of fools, and then discusses the typical significance of the time by analyzing fools` images.The second chapter is about the fools of Jane Austen's and her opinions of marriage. This chapter analyzes different images of fools and exposes the point of class value which is behind her love point. Besides it is theoretically preparation for next chapter.
