As the 18th century French thinker,Rousseau's works of philosophy,political science,literature, linguistics, education, music science and other areas are rich wealth to leave for us. However, because of Rousseau's opposite attitude to art as well as the current translation of academic failure, and many other reasons, his theories in the aesthetic thinking has not been given sufficient attention. In fact, Rousseau's doctrine contains a wealth of aesthetic ideas, and later produced a far-reaching implications. Therefore, the aesthetic thinking of Rousseau's research has broad space and great research value.This thesis is with a series of questions: Why Rousseau oppose art as a literary scholar? Does he have aesthetic thought in the end? What is his aesthetic ideas ? How is the aesthetic significance and impact of his aesthetic ?With the one problem Answers, the paper starts. First of all,it expounded Rousseau's basic philosophy, political science point of view, because this is related to his aesthetic ideas closely. Among them, freedom and nature are the key words. The second part is the main body of the thesis, first of all, pull back Rousseau to the historical situation at that time, through analysis to Rousseau's specific views on the art, open the real minds of Rousseau's ideas on the art step by step: he is not really object to art, but opposite the popularity of literature and art to the public ,and then analyse the nature, freedom, human emotions and the human body on a specific point of view.In the end,it analyse the literature of Rousseau's aesthetic works which reflected his aesthetics ideas. Finally, the article assessed the alienation concept which breed from Rousseau's ideas and the romantic trend of thought which influenced by Rousseau's aesthetic ideas.And it expound Kant, Marx, Engels, Yu Dafu, Ba Jin, and other thinkers,writers who influced by his profound thinking,and affirmed and illustrated his history position in the history of humanities.
