Discusses The National Symphonic Chorus, Mulan Ballad Composing Feature And Conducting Explanation

Mulan Ballad is a national symphonic chorus composed by famous Chinese composer Shi Fu and Chen Jiahai, a professor in Art College of Henan University. The great type of music, symphonic chorus and specific artistic angle of view are used to elucidate newly the Chinese ancient ballad. It is a kind of innovation and research of the nationalization of Chinese chorus.With the guidance of music text, this paper uses a combination of data analysis, score analysis, summarization and induction to analyze the construction of composing thought and the national composing method of Mulan Ballad. Based on the exisiting Henan operas, thesis materials and the piano music book of the ballad, the paper also discusses the conducting explanation of the work. Through the research, on one hand, the author learns once more the beauty of the work and realizes deeply the value of it, thus gets a better understanding of the composting method of the work; on the other hand, by studying the expression accordatura, tune, rhythm, harmony, speed, strength, singing method, tamber and so on, the author explains the conducting explanation.This paper is divided into three chapters:Chapter One: the composing thought of the national symphonic chorus, Mulan Ballad. The theme of Mulan embodies the great vitality of Chinese national spirit, which will never fade as time goes by. On the contrary, it is a solid foundation of Chinese national spirit.Chapter Two: the composing features of the national symphonic chorus, Mulan Ballad. In this chapter, the author will analyze the work structure paragraph by paragraph to summarize its composing feature.Chapter Three: the conducing explanation of the national symphonic chorus, Mulan Ballad. Based on the analysis and understanding of musical image and artistic conception of the work, the author will propose his own opinion of the re-composing of the work from the view of conducting explanation.
