A Study On The Grammaticalization Of Function Word Group Of The "He (�'�)"

To the thesis,the function word group of"he"(和)(contain"yu(与),j(i及),gong(共),he(和),tong(同),lian(连),gen(跟)and bing(并)") is the focus of attention for evermore . On the basis of the systemic description of its evolution , this dissertation summarizes the causes that bring about the grammaticalization of the function word group"he"(和).This thesis is made up of six parts ended with an epilogue and preceded by an introduction which gives an account of. theory on the grammaticalization and makes a review on the historic and present studies of the the function word group"he"(和).The first part describes in detail the evolution of the function words"yu(与),ji(及),gong(共),he(和).The second part describes in detail the evolution of tong(同),lian(连),gen(跟)and bing(并) in the process of its grammaticalization .The third part studies the differences in the conjuction group of he(和) and the preposition group of he(和). The fourth part mainly explores its causes that bring about the grammaticalization of the function word group"he"(和).The last part is the conclution.
