Research On Confucius' Thoughts Of Humanity

Humanity is the core of Confucius'thoughts. We have to understand humanity when we study Confucius'thoughts. The Analects of Confucius have 482 chapters, including 58 chapters about the humanity, have 109 humanities, but Confucius didn't give us an accurate definition, that left a huge space for us.This thesis is supported by The Analects of Confucius and based on the research results of predecessors. At the aspect of the concept of human nature,this thesis is tried to grasp the core significance of humanity and the intrinsic clue of Confucius' thoughts. This paper is divided into four parts:PartⅠ:Introduce origin of humanity. It spread at two aspects—the glyph and the meaning of character. Firstly, it might be discovered the track of evolution of the humanity; secondly, it might be showed the inner link to Confucius' thoughts.PartⅡ: The connotation of humanity is analyzed .When interpreting the humanity, this chapter first analyze "to cherish relatives", then analyze "love people", finally extend to "loves the thing".PartⅢ: Point out the way of achieving humanity. It spread at two aspects—practicing self-cultivation and pacifying the people. Practicing self-cultivation is related to pacifying the people.PartⅣ:The spirit realm of humanity is analyzed. On the foundation of analyzing the natural and the Dao of heaven, this chapter points out the unity of heaven and human being and so-called the unity of heaven and human being .Finally obtains the conclusion: Delight is not only the highest experience of the unity of heaven and human being, but also implying realization of humanity.
