The Function Of Music Education In Military School And The Construction Of Its Teaching Mode

This thesis studies the music education in military school. Warfare history shows that music is connected with wars. Music is always one of the important factors to inspire militant spirit of soldiers, which also has become our army's tradition. The quality-oriented education of music in military school should be function music education which can help to bring up high-quality military personnel of a new type. This thesis systematically states the inspiration function of music and its approach and mode. The inspiration mode of music is: using music to make a moral education so as to inspire the students' patriotism. Currently, the function of music education doesn't get enough attention, especially the function of cultivating the militant spirit. Music lesson is not a required course in military school. The author thinks that it is necessary to rearrange the music teaching of military school. This thesis suggests putting the music teaching to the primary position, constructing course system which includes required courses, elective courses, and lectures, and at the same time forming an all-round education system. Especially, the required course of songs of militant spirit can enlighten the students thought, strengthen their conviction, and inspire their fighting will. This thesis also put suggestions on enlarging music teaching faculty, guaranteeing musical instruments and modern technology, and constructing net teaching environment and campus culture environment.
