This paper expresses the particular character of Tang and Song lyrics' form through the analysis of material elements of and from the angle of language performance system.Tang and Song lyrics originated in Tang dynasty, through Five Dynasties periods, thrived in Song dynasty. This made the character of Tang and Song lyrics' language performance system presented continually variational diachronic process.
