During Emperor Qianlong period in the Qing Dynasty, Zai Sheng Yuan was one of the most outstanding Tanci, the former seventeen volumes of which were written by Chen Duansheng who was a literature talent in Hangzhou, while the other three volumes by another female writer Liang Desheng. People usually pay their greatest attention to the plot"woman disguised as man"in the fantastic work. In this paper, I attempt to analyze the origin and development of the mode"woman disguised as man", and explore the pathway of female literature and the grace of the ideological transformation.The text is divided into four parts. First, I introduce the family background and life experiences of Chen Duansheng. Secondly, the process of the mode"woman disguised as man"is clarified in order to find the reference and source of the plot"woman disguised as man"in Zai Sheng Yuan. The third part of this paper focuses on interpreting the plot"woman disguised as man"in Zai Sheng Yuan. Taken Meng Lijun, Wei Yong-E for example, the re-awareness and confusion of female gender is mentioned here.Finally, the author's creative deficiencies and limitations will be summarized. Through collecting the relevant information and giving a detailed analysis to the text of Zai Sheng Yuan, people would realize the status and art achievement of"Zai Sheng Yuan", and have a in-depth discuss about the woman's landscape of self-improvement and self-reliance. To some extent, we can see the general situation of Chinese female literature from this article .
