Research On Ethical Issues Of Network Society

Any technology tends to create a new human envioroment. This is also true for network technology. Network space, which the network technology has created, as a virtual space, has become the second living space of human being. It has dramatically changed the way of thingking, life, communication, learning, working as well as entertainment. Furthermore, in the process of activities of network space, people has formed a variety of social relationships, which enables the network space to possess a significance of society and constitute a socialized network society.In the network society, ethic issue has become one of the new type of social ethic problems, which not only hinders the healthy development of network, but also deeply affects the economics, politics, culture and society of our country. Therefore, it has great theoretical and practical significance to study the ethic of network society. Rooted in the present situation of network society in our country, following the principle of the combination of theory and practice, this paper has made an account and analysis of the present situation, reasons, influence, development tendency and social control of network society. It includes the following four parts:Chapter One is an outline of network society, which introduces its characteristics, expounds the necessity of the present study from the perspective of the relationship between network society and realistic society, and makes a brief account of the present situation of network society in our country.Chapter Two mainly studys the echical problems of network society. The main reasons for the ethical problems of interent society are listed, including the fundamental reasons, internal reasons and the external reasons.Chapter Three deals with the relationship between the network society and realistic society from multiple perspectives. The network society has both positive and negative influence on the realistic society. It is like a double sword, which can be used as a weapon, at the same time, can hurt itself.Chapter Four, the final part, the suggestion that harmonious network society should be constructed is put forward in response to the construction of harmonious society advocated by General Secretary Hu Jintao , for constructing network society is an essential part to the constructon of hamonious society. Morever, the view of the author that harmnious network ethic should be regarded as a guidence of the constructon of harmonious network society is presented from three aspects: ethic, law and technology.
