Study On The Application Of Photo-image To The Intangible Cultural Heritage Digital Museum

In the irresistible globalization and modernization of developing countries of 21st century, the Intangible Cultural Heritage which is passed on by teaching and learning in person is in great danger of being forgotten, damaged and vanishing. For a civilized ancient country like China, it is urgent to protect the Intangible Cultural Heritage truly, systematically and thoroughly by means of literality, sound, tape and digitalized multimedia. And one of the hot issues in the current art-communication academic field is to save, protect, communicate and develop the Intangible Cultural Heritage by using modern photo-image technology.From the standpoint of art and communication, the paper studies the application of photo-image to the digital museum as a platform. It is divided grossly into three parts. The first one defines the concept of the Intangible Cultural Heritage with the introduction of digital museum and its characteristics and superiority on the Intangible Cultural Heritage protection. The second one analyses the characteristics of photo-image in the reference frame of the crowd psychology and reading favor on Reading Picture Times with the emphasis on how to collect the Intangible Cultural Heritage by using the lunar new year paintings as an example. The third part explores how to select and edit the photo-image of the Intangible Cultural Heritage from the point of view of photo-image production, along with the emphasis on how to communicate the Intangible Cultural Heritage to the crowd in digital museum.
