AR Digital Design And Display Of Artistry-based Intangible Cultural Heritage In The Jiangsu Section Of The Grand Canal

Intangible cultural heritage,as the spiritual accumulation of a nation,needs to play its role by protecting,displaying,and disseminating its cultural value.The Jiangsu section of the Grand Canal is one of the main sections of the Grand Canal in China,with rich historical and cultural resources.A large number of intangible cultural heritages with historical and cultural values are facing the dilemma of "slow dissemination and difficult inheritance." With the rapid development of digital display technology and the increasing urgency of the need for the protection and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage,traditional display methods can no longer meet the new demands of the speed and breadth of intangible cultural heritage in the new era.As an emerging digital display technology,AR technology has the advantages of virtual and real integration,real-time interaction,and threedimensional registration,and has a promising development prospect.Applying AR technology to the digital display and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage can break the spatiotemporal barriers between intangible cultural heritage and people and make up for the shortcomings of existing intangible cultural heritage displays,such as homogenized forms,monotonous content,and lack of experience.It can effectively improve the dissemination benefits of intangible cultural heritage,contribute to society,and have positive theoretical and practical significance for the digital research of intangible cultural heritage.This thesis takes the artistry-based intangible cultural heritage of the Jiangsu section of the Grand Canal as the research object,with Qinhuai lantern artistry as an example,and explores the application of AR technology in the digital design and display of artistry-based intangible cultural heritage.Firstly,the thesis analyzes the concept,characteristics,and value of the artistry-based intangible cultural heritage of the Jiangsu section of the Grand Canal and gives an overview of the development status and application of AR technology.Secondly,through the analysis of the current situation of Qinhuai lantern artistry and user research,the demand for the AR digital display of Qinhuai lantern artistry is clarified.Then,the thesis proposes a Qinhuai lantern artistry AR digital design scheme,and practices and discusses the AR application interface design,digital model acquisition optimization,and AR digital design module implementation.Finally,it looks forward to the future development trend of AR technology in the field of digital design and display of artistry-based intangible cultural heritage.It is hoped that this paper will expand the dissemination channels of artistry-based intangible cultural heritage,increase its social recognition,and thus promote the inheritance and development of artistrybased intangible cultural heritage.
