China League for Civil Rights ("League"for short) which was founded by Song Qingling and the straggling for the protection of civil rights, have made an unique contribution to the national and democratic revolution of China.Since 1980s, the study on the League by the academe had been becoming increasingly deeper and more all-sided, which gives good use for reference to further studies on the League; and the publishing of some Collections of Historical Materials provides first-hand valuable historical materials for an in-depth study. But the existing studies spent much more characters on the League foundation and its activities, the materials was deficient in studies through the relationship of Song Qingling and the League. It is necessary to study deeply the issue, because Song Qingling as one of the main founders and leaders of the League held the balance in the foundation of the League and the political struggle. Whereas this, the thesis selects this aspect to study the League.This thesis is divided into three parts: the introduction, the main body, and the conclusion. The main body is divided into four chapters.Chapter 1 introduces the historical background and conditions under which Song Qingling founded China League for Civil Rights, and opens out that the League was founded by Song Qingling following with the increasingly serious national conflict and class conlict at the beginning of 1930s, meanwhile as a result of the change of Song Qingling's political ideas. The chapter also makes an analysis of the function of Song Qingling who was the role in the foundation.Chapter 2 by comparison, explains the influence of civil right ideas of Song Qingling on the League's political opinion.Chapter 3 gives prominence to the function of Song Qingling in the League activities. And analyzes with emphasis the struggle traits of the League which were decided by the stratum's characteristics and the special social environment, and which also related closely to the personality charm and the style of walking of Song Qingling.Chapter 4 analyzes the historical status and influences of the struggle of the League under the leadership of Song Qingling in the national and democratic revolutionary of China.
