In recent years, with a further discussion of translator's subjectivity in translation research scope, series of related topics become popular towards scholars. These topics include requirements for translators, status of translators, orientation of the translators' role, the scope of translator's subjectivity, debate of the performance of translator's subjectivity, and horizon of subjectivity, etc. This thesis applies the notions of Hans-georg Gadamer's Modern Philosophical Hermeneutics to what in order to analyze translator's subjectivity in comprehensive ways. It is hoped that the above-mentioned chapters could summarize and integrate the translator's subjectivity in both theory and practice; therefore, a conclusion can be reached that the translator is comparatively independent and translator is actually the subject of translation process. Apart from that, in terms of the restrictive enlargement of translator's subjectivity, to raise the status of translator is actually microscoping the translator's right and responsibility. In this case, to inspect the translator's subjectivity means to microscope the advantage and disadvantage produced by translator's subjectivity during the whole translation process. Thus, it is comparatively clear to identify the translator's subjectivity and it contributes to the translation practice in terms of balancing the performance of subjectivity and ensuring a reasonable and an effective translation work. This paper suggested a new relationship among the translation factors based on Professor Liu Miqing's diagram; detailed the definition of translator's subjectivity based on Zha Mingjian and Tian Yu's ideas; proposed the concept of translator's self-orientating; discussed the effect of advantage and disadvantage of hermeneutics toward translator's subjectivity and constructs the theoretical connection between hermeneutics and cultural reference of tensile force. In addition, this paper discusses the cultural balance and cultural default of translator's subjectivity and the associate solutions based on the extemalization of translator's subjectivity displayed in practical works. Thus, it could be a kind of reference for the ordinary translators whom engaged in practical translation works in terms of balancing their subjectivity performance.
