| Since 1958, the domestic television drama has been one of the essential ways of the stratum leisure through the development for 50 years, and was gradually recognized and acceptable by the public. The TV drama production has become a strong industry in China TV industries. As a municipal organization, Xi'an TV drama art center consistengtly practice own art principle, and becomes a backbone of TV drama production in the west of China.This paper takes Xi'an TV drama art center established in 1990 as the research object, studies the background of development path and outstanding achievement according to its history and art creation at the background of development of Chinese TV drama.At the same time, it will provide some feasible suggestions in order to benefit center's development. This is the first time to study systematically Xi'an TV drama art center as a case, so it presents the value of originality and innovation in the sense of academic theory and application aspect.This paper focuses on the history as well as its innovation and development, adopts the methords of historical analysis,essential analysis,comparative analysis,economic analysis as well as classification,practical research,devides its history into elementary stage,exploratory stage,prosperity stage and maturity stage, and studies each stage in the center's managements art creation and industrial operation.The first chapter mainly discusses the center's character,management and reform. The second chapter focuses on the feature and style in each stage, mainly descrides the important works and achievement. The third chapter centers on the industrial operation, analyse the stage and link of the whole TV drama production industry. The fourth chapter aims to point out the way of future development, which is the: auther's aim and hope to benefit other TV drama organization.
