On Chinese Contemporary Writer Bi Feiyu And His Works

In recent years, Bi Feiyu as a writer has been concerned by critics and ordinary readers. Since early 1990s, when he set foot on the literary scene, his novel began with avant-garde. And it underwent two important transitions which was from the metaphysical and historical complex to reflection on daily life, and then to deeply analysis to individual fate. All of these showed a growth outstanding writer tireless pursuit of art. Although inevitably there are traces of times literature trend in Bi Feiyu's works, but he gradually established his own art style depending on exceeding thinking and writing filled with individual experience. After analyzing his creative track, we can see it, Bi Feiyu always insists on sensitivity of pain and significance of questioning whether historical or realistic narrative. The heart perseverance and unique theme not only reflect strong sense of community involvement but also bring vitality to contemporary literacy scene. As one of the most attractive contemporary narrative, Bi Feiyu puts attention to the melody flowed poem of language. He also pursuits the intensity, depth and breadth and refines language artistic style which is combined deeply philosophical words and apparent emotional description. Depending on rich details , insensitive and profound compassion, Bi Feiyu opens a door to the secretive humanbeing. He successfully creates a number of charming and rocking people's hearts figures such as Xiao Yanqiu, Yu Mi, Yu Xiu, Duan Fang, Wu Manling and soon. They show the tragic dignity which men struggle with fate.While we affirm the achievement of Bi Feiyu's work, as the same time, there still exits several shortcomings. These mainly reflect in two aspects. Firstly, language is indulgent and lacks strong restraint. The narrative often describes too deeply and sometimes flaunts wisdom. This question concentrates in early years'works. The writer needs to resist expending passion of flaunting and strengthen to control the words and skills. Secondly, although Bi Feiyu indeed writes survival mode of some kind of character people vividly and contest of kinds of thinking thoroughly, but he don't write injury which has brought these figures paint and reflection and give them soul salvation ways. To some degrees, it gets out spirit limitation of Bi Feiyu's works. It needs to make a breakthrough and exceed in writer's future work.On the basis of reading carefully, the paper attempts to conclude the writing performance. Through interpreting the way to creation, it analyzes the lack of writing creation in order to fill gap in current study from gasping the unique overall.
