Existentialism philosophy is one of the most important philosophical schools in 20th century.As a theory,the contents are very rich and the standing persons include Kierkegaard,Nietzsche,Heidegger,Sartre and Camus.Personlized writing of chinese writers who are influenced by the existentialism is discussed in this paper.The four writers' works and the influenceof existentialism on them are studied.The four writers are Shi Tiesheng,Zhang Chengzhi,Bei Cun,and Can Xue,whose works from different angles had demonstrated the visions of people's survival in Chinese modern society in respective way.In this paper the auther thinks that the intense existentialism philosophy consciousness penetrates into the novels of the four writers.The introduction of this paper briefly introduces the present research situation of existentialism in China.The reason of selecting this topic and research perspective of this paper are expounded.The main body is divided into four parts.Existentialism theories of Kerr triumphant Guo you,Nietzsche,Heidegger,Sutter,are taken as the background and the basis.The existentialism tendency and the concrete manifestation characteristics of the four writers are elaborated separately.In the first part,the themes such as the sense of absurdity of life,death and destiny and that of the self-choice of destiny that are presented in the prose "The Earth Templeand me",the novel "Life is like String","Notes in Possible World" etc.written by Shi Tiesheng are discussed.And the relations between these themes and existentialism is elaborated,revealing the complexity of existentialism implication.Chapter Two explores the connections among the stories and the characters in Zhang Chengzhi'novels "the River in North China" and "Black Horse" and the viewpoint of existentialism.Then the author proposes her own idea.Chapter Three probes into the themes of life,death and redeem presented in Bei Cun's novels "Anger","Lao Mu's Violin","Ma Zhuo's Love","Baptizing River",ect. The relationships between these themes and existentialism are discussed,and then the Existentialism thoughts and proposition in Bei Cun's texts are expoundedChapter Four discussed the relationships between the themes of survival circumstance and survival redeem presented in Can Xue's novels and existentialism through the texts analysis,indicating the origins of existentialism thoughts.As a whole,the propagation and influence of existentialism in Chinese literary world of new period are not unidirectional evolution processes.Writers' literar practice and the specific social and historical environments in Chinese present age also promoted the detection,understanding,reception and transformation of existentialism in China,which is also one of the important symbols of chinese literature moveing towards world literature.
