A Study On "the Methodology Of Pure Practical Reason"

The thesis aims to study on the contents and means of the methodology of practical reason based on Kant's works such as, The critique of practical Reason,The groundwork of the Metaphysics of morals and The Metaphysics of Moral.Kant's moral theory intended to antagonize Empiricism and Teleology Ethics which was based on Empiricism. His methodology of rational practical reason not only criticized Leibniz - Wolfs "dictatorial" moral education theory, but also strongly criticized the methods of moral education of Teleology Ethics. He meant to establish an ethics which applied to all creatures who owned reason. And he would like to conceive universal moral laws based on the critique of pure practical reason.After his moral theory established, a problem arose which involved how to implement rational methodology. Kant discussed the possibility of rational methods from the perspective of human nature. From Kant's intention to establish a universal moral law, we can infer its practice rational method was a common one, and the contents of this practice rational method was fixed and the most basic. Practical Reason methods included: comparing the maxims with laws,moral beliefs establishment,what people should do,antinomy of practical reason, that is,discussing the relationship between virtue and welfare. The methods which were used to implement the practical reason are: combining Law and self-discipline(self-regulation was in the highest flight),training of moral judgment,guide forces,culture of good will,etc.Kant's Practical Reason methodology had such important significance for us: people is the purpose; avoiding the temptation of welfare and interests,prevent moral intents of the "source of pollution". The basic points of implementation of practical reason are respect and obligations——emphasizing the rationality of practical reason.
