Among the 16 films save only in the 'Films in the Main Rear Area(FMRA)', the is a very and precious example. It because not only the special making experience made it became a 'film event', which run through the whole period of the main rear area; but also it is pool efforts to a huge 'Anti-Japanese War film' under the multiple factor ,like time requests, movie's own development and so on. And the completely and deeply characteristics of 'blockbuster' ,laies the as the original blockbuster of the films in the main rear area.From reading and researching the history culture of the , we can not only clear to see the official movie organization been done a series of actions and its characteristic, about the shooting, publicity, distribute and projection, fill the existing gaps in the history of reference, and revise some inappropriateness ,at the time of Main rear area;but also develop and measure the formation of a 'blockbuster' firstly, which increased a new esthetic characteristic scope for feature of the films at the main rear area, besides the 'documentary nature'.This paper reducts the history and characteristics of by collecting and finishing the first-hand information such as newspaper, magazines and film documents etc, which published during the main rear area time and storage in Chongqing Library ,Beibei district Library and Chongqing Archive ,and makes the whole self sufficient chain of 'blockbuster' by studying other films during the main rear area time .This paper doesn't confined to read one-aspect of the , but takes the open attitude to pay more attention to the inner and outside links .Thus ,it puts the film to the whole context of Chinese film development and society of the main rear area ,and displays the whole characteristics and vein of the 'blockbuster'.The forefront of this paper introduces the purpose ,methods and significance of the studying .The main part divided into four chapters. The first chapter reduct the history from preparing to screening of ,through the newspaper, magazines and film documents which published during the main rear area time to note the important status of this film as a 'historical event' .The second chapter analysis and studies the film context from the: play and screen language to make sure this film's special characteristics as the blockbuster about the Anti-Japan. The third chapter on the base of blockbuster's characteristics, use the interiextual way to study other films during the main rear area time ,and builds the whole chain of 'blockbuster' which make the as centre. The fourth chapter ,analysis the reasons of how the blockbuster about the Anti-Japan came into being from the rapid expansion of a system of government-run film, 1930's "emerging film movement" accumulation, the film policy development and performance of the film achievements, and several other areas.
