"Event" is a topic that can not be avoided which is about the effective teaching of post-modern discussion. The mission of effective post-modern teaching is to make the teaching events return to classroom, in the teaching of music appreciation, although music is the theme of teaching, but the mission of teaching music is to train the student's ability of analysis and evaluation in the process of reunification. However, it is an issue that how the incident will be returned to the post-modern concept of the introduction of effective teaching them music appreciation teaching and to address the hearing of music there is always training and understanding of the cultural meaning of the contradiction. China Conservatory of Music Professor Xie Jiaxing music is hearing a case, emotional events in life events at the same time, the reality of events the idea of teaching music appreciation, in the long-term in order to explore the teaching of listening, experience, comprehension, application for clues to the teaching model, achieved a combination of both. In this paper, Professor Xie Jiaxing events raised by the concept of teaching as well as in its concept and carried out under the guidance of the China Conservatory of Music Arts Management "Music Appreciation and Criticism" course for the study, use of descriptive studies, literature studies and survey interviews Research Methods, Professor Xie Jiaxing of music appreciation and criticism of the events carried out teaching and research carding system.This article is from four parts to analysis the contents. The introductory includes the advance of the problem, Exposition of the basic concepts, research status and significance of this study and its methods. The first and second chapter focuses on Xie Jiaxing Professor's music appreciation and the Causes, the process of exploration, as well as teaching practice of Criticized concept of teaching events .The third chapter mainly describes the auctorial follow-up examination of the Chinese Art of Music Management "Music Appreciation and Criticism" in the 2007-2008 school year, as well as the recognition and evaluation of internal and external experts, students and the community which is to present the teaching achievement under the guidance of the teaching events. Chapter IV is the concluding part of this article, by analyzing the course of events in the generation level, as well as comparison with the teaching of traditional music to draw to the characteristics of the teaching concept and significance of the events of music appreciation .The purpose of this research significance is to provide the teaching experience to the general professor who teaches the class of music appreciation and to share the type of the course's production, and hope that by introducing the concept of this teaching this article can lead to deep reflections on the concept.
