As a represent of the second generation of new confucian,Xu Fuguan have made remarkable achievements in philosophy,literature and aesthetics,history of ideas and so on.Since the late 1980s in the 20th century,Xu Fuguan's philosophy,political ideology,the history of ideas,artistic aesthetic ideology become the object of many scholars concerning.Based on the results of research of Xu Fuguan's literary aesthetics thinking on the mainland,the paper wang to find the centres and focus in the various stages of research,as well as the change and liaison in the different phase.In addition, this paper based on "the spirit of Chinese art," through background,culture atmosphere and Xu Fuguan's life experiences,explained the connotation of Xu Fuguan Confucian and Taoist art of the spirit,and many controversy from Xu Fuguan reserchers,summed up the characteristics of spirits of Chinese art,which revealed that Xu Fuguan is still the spiritual essence of Confucianism.Xu Fuguan creatively puted forward "the spirit of Chinese art",regarded the spirit of Confucian and Taoist art spirit as two-type.He believes that Kongzi may be the most obvious and the most great discoverer who find the spirit of Chinese art in the history.The music culture is an important source of culture,but Xu Fu-guan believes Confucianist pade more attention to the music culture,he attached so much importance to music,because he found the music could be used to educate people and to enhance personal accomplishment.Xu Fu-guan summed up the spirit of Chinese art of Confucianist as:"The art for life",this character made the spirit of Chinese art of Confucianist gradually fading in the end.The spirit of Taoist art,Xu Fuguan think that, from Laozi to Zhuang-zi,is not only a speculative,with more experience,Zhuang-zi based on the thoughts of Taoist art spirit,this concept in Xu Fu-guan's "Chinese theory of human nature History·Pre-Qin "have been emerging,he believes that Taoist didn't specifically talk about art at the beginning,but the contents of Tao is very wide, it is not only speculative and philosophical,but also with experience,and the spirit of art is the combination of the Tao and the real life.Xu Fu-guan believes that,the highest state of Zhuang-zi'Tao and the highest artistic spirit of artists to pursue,in essence,are the same,the way of Zhuang-zi's Tao and the work by artists,in essence, are the same too.For example,Zhuang-zi's "imaginary","static" is the main manifestation of the spirit of art,and "Heart vegetarian," "forgotten" is the way of the spirit of art.Through "Heart vegetarian" and "forgotten",the main access to the peace state,the state of mind,is the role of the spirit,the artistic spirit what Zhuang-zi's thinking reflects is the desire of freedom,and the implementation of the works of art on the other hand,formed a simple and natural aesthetic features such as China Ancient landscapes which reflected the beauty of plain naive.There are so many art forms,such as painting,music,architecture and so on.the art form by Zhuang-zi's spirit of the art affected is not limited to painting,but Xu Fuguan implements Taoist on the the painting,because he thinks that the pursuit of freedom and liberation in the spirit of the art of Zhuang-zi is easy,but in real life is very difficult,and only the natural world can be inclusive of Taoism's spiritual world,he believes that China painting is the products Zhuang-zi's spirit which happens unexpectedly.the spirits of art for Xu Fu-guan was being controversied from beggiong,how to definate the "Chinese art spirit" is a focus.I agreed with zhang qiqun's view that the spirit of arts from the core of national culture for example philosophy or religion,that is to say the artistic spirit is the core of philosophy or religion,the spirit of the art is actually a controversy Study on the relationship between Confucianism and Taoism,Whether Confucian-led faction,or the dominant faction of Taoism,Confucianism and Taoism is complementary camp,their theories have a certain,degree of defects.Xu Fu-guan's "the spirit of Chinese art," implement the spirit of Taoism in China on the art at first,and focus on the ancient Chinese painting,the spirit of art of Taoist exposites graet influence and role in the development of ancient Chinese painting.At this point,not only in Chinese ideological history,Taoist thought has occupied a place in the history of philosophy,but also has played an important role in the history of Chinese art,and he is no longer as a supplement to the Confueian.But it is worth noting that,Taoist spirit is "pure artistic spirit",because compared with Confucianism, it is straight,and the Confucian require "conversion." Xu Fu-guan believes that the Chinese culture is still the basic character of Confucianism,Taoism and Confucianism is "two sides by one," they are in different ways:Confucianism is positive,Taoism is negative,Overall,the spirit of the art is still Confucianism,Taoism implements the spirit of the arts in the arts,the spirit of Confucianism implements in the all of Chinese culture,underlines the richness of the Chinese culture including the art and the morals.
