The research object of this paper is Mou zongsan's illumination of the tragic spirit oftraditionalChinese ideology, aboutthis topicis mainly manifested in his reinterpretation of the Confucian,Taoist and Buddhism thought,at the same time, this is the basic theory of the modern new-Confucianism system, which is based on lu wang's psychology. In this paper, the author makes three arguments from the author's thoughts andwritings:“compassionfeelings”,“peripateticism”and“great compassion”.The Confucian spirit of tragedy has created a “sense of the world” in the rain of spring breeze. The Taoist family values “artistic spirit and noble spirit”.The “greatest good” of the buddhist family has preserved all the laws, and also confirmed the value and significance of the great compassion. These are also the key to mastering the characteristics of Chinese philosophy understood by Mr.Mou zongsan. On the basis of this, the author finally obtains the feeling of “solemn and stirring” in Chinese tragic spirit.
