Luoshan shadow puppet, with its distinctive local characteristics, is one of the representative of Henan shadow puppet. This article is the research ofluoshan puppet from cultural aspect.The full text is divided into three parts:The first part is introduction, which is a simple description of current status of luoshan shadow puppet, pointing out the current inadequate and the necessity of research.The second part of the body, divided into two chapters: The first chapter is about the formation and development of shadow puppet. Through a series of legends and literature, cultural relics, records, the paper believes that the current Shadow puppet also did not specify the origin of test time, but not later than in the Northern Song Dynasty. There exist new viewpoints of the original time of luoshan shadow puppet.Chapter II is music analysis of luoshan shadow puppet, which is the most important part of the whole text.
