After this book was completed, Chen Chun became the famous scholar. Chen Chun liked talking about harmony, he thought that thing of the harmony was oneness of Li and Qi. On the contrary, Zhu Xi thought Li in Qi first. Chen Chun didn't agree with him and opposed Zhu Xi's cosmogony. Chen Chun thought that the primal chaos was noumenon, it was eternal and universial to guarantees the normal use, oneness of substance and function. These three levels was connected together, Chen Chun thought that ethics was finally deoxidized to nature.Chen Chun devoted the dissemination which studies in Zhuzi, but its academic also slightly had the difference with Zhu Xi.
