Numerous studies show that self-concept is a core element of personality,which has an important impact on individual growth. On the basis of existed researches, taking students of the secondary vocational school of Shenzhen as the study object, using experimental research methods, this study searches the affection of self-concept to academies achievement and psychological healthy, with a view to improving their self-concept lever and providing reference for promoting the healthy growth of secondary vocational school students.Though experimental research methods, choosing the students of ShenZhen Vocational Technical School as researching subject, this study try foster students'self-concept through three methods, including lecture, group guidance and interruption of parents education. It will use Piers-Harris Children's self-concept Scale and Symptom check list - 90 , SCL - 90 to discuss the relationship between self-concept and growth.The results show that: firstly, vocational school students have low level self-concept and low lever psychological health, and lose balance between their subjects; secondly, they are too involved in their looks and appearances; thirdly, after those three types of interruption, students of experienced class are deeply improved from the aspect of self-concept, psychological healthy and academies achievement. About self-concept, the students of experimental class have lower level anxious than the comparison class, can get on well with others; about the psychologically healthy , the students of experimental class have lower somzatization degree and lower lever anxious; about the performance comparison on Chinese, mathematics, English and computer ,the students of experimental class are higher than the comparison class in the language and the computer.Therefore, carrying out self-concept education and psychology-related activities in secondary vocational schools is conducive to students'psychological healthy , and could promote their self-concept level and their performance, and could result in a healthy growth in their livelihood.
