The research and analysis of this dissertation is about yijihuoluo dugui obuga - the smallest administrative region in the Mongolian traditional culture. It is based on the strict field work and specific research of the unique cultural customs integrating with its geography, history, politics, economy, and culture. The basic objective of the research is"nair"and"nair un daguu"within the folk community while emphasizing the original characteristics and the present inheriting of thedugaaobao"nair". The core content of the research and analysis is about cultural customs of these folk communities distributing evenly over the relatively small regions, which have beliefs in common local gods and are linked with each other through consanguinity and geo-ethnic connections.Based on the strict field work and specific research of the past and present, thedissertation impersonally describes and analyses the specific cultural lives of the Mongolian communities, the inheriting of musical culture, the ethnic music systems and framework, the objective analysis of the folk artists' apprehension of traditional culture and the discussions on the suffering conflicts and impacts during the process of the culture development.On the basis of the participation and the observation on the rituals of dugui obuga, the dissertation specifically and impersonally describes the small cases, general development, micro view and macro view of the music lives of the Mongolian communities. It sums up and demonstrates these culture customs based on the ethnical music study, folklore, sociology, and anthropology. The multi-angled and multi-leveled descriptions in the dissertation are based on the structure of "summarizing-analyzing-summarizing". Firstly, it introduces the geography, history, social and religious and humane background of the dugui obuga with the purpose of foreshadowing of the specific interpretation of the customs. Secondly, it expounds the bearer, the subject and the expression of the custom forms generally and specifically. Thirdly, it penetrates into the performance of nair un daguu. The writer made records of three cases of nair and demonstrates the customs and the background in two aspects. It discusses inheriting of the community culture under the influence of modern media, ethnic communication and social development on the basis of the study of the ethnic music, sociology and other subjects. Lastly, it discusses the modern variation and it's the cultural roots of these variations and the potentiality of nair and"nair un daguu"under the background of modern politics, economy, sociology, and culture.
