An Overview On Pu Songling Research Of China Mainland In Ten Years

Pu Songling was a Chinese famous novelist of Qing Dynasty. Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio,which was Pu Songling's representative work,is praised the king of China short storys and can be to compare favorable with some Long novels such as Dream of Red Mansions and The Scholars. The research on Pu Songling and his works is always the import component element in the area of research on Chinese ancient novels. Since the 1980s, the research on Pu Songling and his works has gained prodigious progress and has been a branch which has the best achievement in the area of research on Chinese ancient novels.With the deepping of research on Pu Songling and the progress of work on data compilation and the fullness of investigative theory, the research on Pu Songling has entered a new stage and has reached unprecedented level of theory. For nearly 10 years,it has get fruitful result in the area of research on Pu Songling and his works.There has more than 1300 relational articles to be published and there are almost 100 relational books.Summary of the research in Chinese mainland is the focus of this article.With a detailed statistics of the research on Pu Songling and Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio and other relational research in Chinese mainland form 1996 to 2006 and based on preliminary analysis,this article has analyzed present situation of research on Pu Songling and categories generalized the research on Pu Songling and commentated hot issues of the research briefly and advanced deficiency of the research initially. The purpose of this article is summarize this ten years'result of the research and advance think of future research based on the summary. In addition to this,I want this article can be a base of material for future research. This article is composed of three parts:ten years'statistics of result of the research on Pu Songling, categories induction of the research on Pu Songling, hot issues and deficiency of the research.
