The Study On The Documentary Evidences Of Strange Stories From A Chinese Studio Quoted By Chinese Dictionary

Strange stories from a Chinese Studio,written by Qing Dynasty's Pu Songling,is a famous short novel in classical Chinese,and it's rich language is provided with high worth of science academic research in literature and linguistics.The Chinese Dictionary is one of the largest domestic dictionary,which has a very wide range of knowledge and connected with such aspects as social life,custom of ancient and modern,Chinese and foreign cultures,and religious,doctrine,both horizontally and vertically.To express the historical evolution process of Chinese vocabulary,the dictionary integrates ancient and modem words,and also focus on origins and evolution of the words.Documented evidences are a very important part of the dictionary.There are 5102 cases of documented evidence from strange stories from a Chinese Studio in the dictionary for the research.There are three purposes:first,we can have a grasp of the overall situation of these documented evidence;second,we can find what kind of errors the dictionary has;third,we can analyze the cause of these errors and give some suggestions to make a contribution to the revision of the dictionary in the future.
