Liang Shiqiu's Aesthetics

Liang Shiqiu was active in the 1930s of the last century literary critic. For political reasons, the literature has not been given him a good evaluation. In recent years, the study of Liang Shiqiu gradually warmed up. A lot of creativities appeared, but people in the past merely noticed that he is a new humanist, they did not concerned about the difference between his new humanism and the control and did not have any special discussion which based on Babbitt and his new humanism.On the basis of previous studies, this paper analyzed the difference between new humanism of Babbitt and Chinese new humanism from their background and purpose. First, from the vertical perspective, I made a general discussion on the classical theory of Liang Shiqiu's human nature and the development. Refers to modern Chinese literary history of science and Humanism, Liang Shiqiu elaborated the new humanist inheritance and transformation. And then from the horizontal perspective, I discussed the difference and the similarities between Liang Shiqiu and Xueheng with a comparative study. Based on the analysis of Liang Shiqiu's Humane and rational concept of moderation literature, I studied the doctrine of the mean in leaterature. Finally I studied the "traditional and contemporary dialogue", Liang Shiqiu concern in general, on 54 with the impact of the new literature and the contemporary performance.
