The Collecting Notes Of Ming Novels Appeared In Yiwenzhi Of The History Of Ming

In the book of "the Ming Dynasty history Yiwenzhi", there are 127 novels recorded, amounting to 3370 volumes. In this thesis, the first 30 novels are picked out to make a comprehensive and systematic study on the works collected by both some officers and other persons. The study also covers the relevant comments on these works from the literature of the past dynasties. Those 30 novels are analyzed according to the order written and edited in this book, with one novel as a unit. By doing this research, a series of comprehensive and reliable literature can be provided for the further study on the novels of Ming dynasty.What's more, in this paper, the author has made some general comments on each writer's life, the time when each novel was published, as well as the main idea and different versions of each novel.
