The Cultural Study On The Differences In The Modes Of Thinking

What is"people"? Through the ages this question has been the focal point which the philosophers pay attention to. Both of China and the West have the tradition about studying human nature. So people started reflect people's culture and people oneself. These knowledge and theory about people , we name it"the theory about people". The theory about people is the outcome of thinking about human's culture and sprits, and it is thinking style of China and West nation's in the process of knowing their culture. The ideas of people is the center of theory of human culture. On the other hand, the mode of thinking which decide people's ways and means of consideration is the style of thinking activity on the basic of certain cultural context in a nation , and every culture would be with a unique mode of thinking. If the theory about people is center of the theory of culture, so as the essence of a nation's culture, mode of thinking of China and West's traditional culture are effected by the theory of people both of China and West. So, making a careful analysis about the theory of people both of China and West has an important meaning to understand the differences of traditional mode of thinking about China and the West. Now in a multi-culture social, the mode of thinking of China has been being confronted with challenges and puzzlements. The essay will discuss how to change the mode of traditional thinking of China under the Marxism scientific theory about"people".The thesis consists of four parts:The first part is introduction, which expounds the relationship between the ideas of human,culture and mode of thinking. Firstly, people keep in close contact with culture, the basic knowledge about people is the beginning of every nation's culture. Human are inventors and centers of all culture which reflect people's cognition about themselves. Secondly, the theory about people should contain the knowledge of nature,society and people themselves. In a word, the different theory about people will affect different modes of thinking. The second part is introduction about characters of China and West's theory about people in the different cultural background. The major differences about China and Western countries'theory about people are"religion ethic"and"freedom"which throughout the process of happening and development of the theory about people. These differences have an effect on the cognition of religions,nature,and connections with other people in China and West.The third part is to analyze the main different modes of thinking about China and West in according to theories about people. The main differences presente two parts: one side ,the integrable and individual thoughts about thinking base; the other side, instinctive and logic thoughts about thinking approach.The fourth part, after comparing the different modes of thinking at the point of China and West's theory about people, we could take a conclusion that how to construct China's mode of traditional thinking on the basis of Marxism scientific theory about"people"in the background of multi-cultural society.The last is some ideas which indicate that the research about the ideas of human is much weak in domestic domain.
