The Study Of Cuban Posters' Design Art

Since 1960's to 1980's, the Cuban poster artists produced a large number of poster works. These works influenced a whole generation of graphic artists all over the world. It is precisely because of these unique poster works' attractive, the author decided to study in-depth with the Cuban poster art. Through the large collection of pictures, as well as the large collection of information from books, magazines, and network. After moths of collating and writing, using the methods of synthesis, analysis, comparison, example demonstration, the author did a more in-depth analysis and research with Cuban poster art. It was from the historical and cultural backgrounds, social ideology and other aspects. And also from the relationship with Cuban poster art, other modern art forms and other countries' poster art. I hope the research of Cuban posters' art style and characteristics will help us to have a better understanding of the design art of the socialist state——Cuba. And the poster art lovers can learn from the rich artistic practices, promote the graphic design with some practical significance.
