The study has investigated reading understanding disability children about their defect in the aspect of read monitoring, and has discussed how to raising their reading monitoring level by training reading monitoring.What this research adopts are measurements before and after intervention of an experimental group and a compare group.First of all, according to "Dyslexia Checklist for Chinese Children "and "Chinese joint type Rui Wen test quantity table",the researcher screens 36 reading disability pupils from 3 ordinary primary schools in Wuhan city, who have participated in the intervention research as the experiment group. 36 reading normal children has also been screened from this 3 primary schools at random.Secondly,though the comparison of monitoring ability research between the experimental group and the compare group, We found that there are prominent differences in two groups,and ascertain the defect on monitoring ability of these reading disability children, which have offered reality basis to train them.Finally, from 8th October of 2007 to 8th January of 2008, the researcher has been carrying on the intervention training to these pupils for 3 months. The intervention includes three parts : Teacher guides pupils in accumulating reading monitoring knowledge. then the teacher trains their about monitoring ability in Reciprocal teaching, which arouses student to experience their own thought course. Lastly, Combining specific text, the teacher adopts the knowledge that had trained to help pupils enter text, perception text ,analysis text and give final brief summary.So we can train systematicly their reading understanding ability. After intervention, the researcher takes the after measurement to the the experimental group and the compare group. The after measurement includes Pupil reading monitoring ability test and Pupil reading understanding questions test.The results are the following:(1) There are prominent differences between the experimental group and the compare group, especially on the degree of monitoring ability.(2) Using ANOVA on monitoring ability of the before-after measurement's Increment, the data shows that the scores of the after measurement are prominent higher than those of the before measurement in the the experimental group, however, in the compare group, the scores of the after measurement are lower than those of the before measurement in the the experimental group.Research conclusion is as follows:(1) The differences in the reading comprehension monitoring between the intervention group and the normal group are rather prominent. No matter on the total level of monitoring or on every level that divides into dimension degree, such as reading former plan , reading in monitoring , after reading appraisement, the scores of read disability children are lower than normal child. (2) After intervention training, the reading disability pupils have certain improvement on their monitoring ability, and their read level also has got corresponding raising.(3) Before intervention training, no matter in reading difficult children or in normal child ,girl's read monitoring level is higher than boy's. After intervention , in reading understanding difficult boys ,their read monitoring ability have got more notable raising than girls.(4) There are close connection between reading monitoring and reading comprehension.Read monitoring training improves the monitoring ability of reading disability students.As the comprehension monitoring ability of student has risen , read record also has notable risen.
