Study On Zhang Zhu-po's Comment On "Chin Ping Mei"

This article takes Zhang Zhu-po's Comment on "Chin Ping Mei"as its case object and studies the comments on the novels of Ming and Qing dynasties. It tries to find and arrange the ancient literary theory and ancient theory of literary criticism of China. In the course of study ,we follow this kind of radical thinking: consulting the life and Psychological Background of Zhang Zhu-po,taking the relevant concepts and categories ,reading the novel text and the comment text carefully,explaining Zhang Zhu-po's comment by modernmeaning.After Zhang Zhu-po Comment on "Chin Ping Mei".,People have evaluated it variously. In my opinion,we should not despise it,although it has been subjective and at his ease in some place. On the novel theory about "ways of the world",Zhang Zhu-po was unique and surpassed even Jin Sheng-tan in some extent. It is not doubtfulthat Zhang Zhu-po contributed Chinese ancient narrative theory,his explaining on some assign topic is still valuable today.
