The Preliminary Study Of Hong Kong Performing Arts-Stage,Type,Characteristics

This paper preliminarily studied the type and characteristics of Hong Kong performing arts in the specific period since from the beginning of Hong Kong business until returning back to China.This paper was titled as "the preliminary study of Hong Kong performing arts - stage, type and characteristics" and detailed analyzed the Hong Kong performing arts from various history period since from the beginning of Hong Kong business, until returning back to China. The Hong Kong performing arts was divided into four parts including music, dance, film and Drama, where the music was divided into Chinese traditional music and popular music; the dance was divided into Chinese dance, folk dance, social dance, ballet, modern dance and dance entertainment; the film was divided into theatrical films, action films, comedies, Phantom film, social realist films and historical biography tablets; drama was divided into drama, opera, ballet and opera; and opera was divided into Cantonese opera, opera, Hoklo drama and puppetry. In general, this paper summarized the arts characteristics of Hong Kong performing arts.As an international city combing with Chinese and western culture, the study of Hong Kong performing arts is necessary and important. This paper will help to deeply explore and understand Hong Kong performing arts, and finally enrich the study of Chinese regional art history.
