Develop Of Western Inner Mongolia Are Cities And Towns

After Qing ruler controlled the Inner Mongolia area, cities and towns was built widely in the western part of Inner Mongolia. Since then on nomadic life style was no longer the leading force in the Inner Mongolia grasslands. It turned to be developed farming, prosperous business and settle village. Mongolian traditional lifestyle and custom even culture was shocked. The society was changed extremely. My thesis starts with the reason of why those cities and towns were raised in the western Inner Mongolia, then expounds the influence which of politics, economic, military affairs and religion about it. Secondly, it analyzes the typical cities and towns in Guisui area which be situated on the western part of Inner Mongolia. Thirdly, we sum up the economic and social changes of those areas. We try to find out the true status of different nationalities who live in the western Inner Mongolia in Qing dynasty by these pointed historical materials. We hope our thesis will be usefull for minority nationality areas to protect and develop their pluralistic culture.
