In the qing dynasty, the development of fen prefecture towns increased both in quantity and in quality. The two dynasties of kangxi and qianlong were at their peak, which was closely related to the general trend of social and economic development in the region at that time.In terms of spatial distribution, the number of towns in pingyao county, jiexiu county, fenyang county and xiaoyi county is more than that in three counties and one state of west, but the radiation range of the former is less than that of the latter. This phenomenon is in line with the relatively prosperous social economy in the eastern basin of the prefecture. In the qing dynasty, the commercial economy of fen-zhou prefectural town was prosperous, but its internal differences were also very significant.Located in the west of yongning state, liulin town has become an important town along the Yellow River because of its west bank Yellow River and north qikou town.Qianlong, xianfeng period,in the town engaged in trade activities are mainly local business; To the guangxu years, the number of foreign trade has become equal to it.In the qing dynasty, the unprecedented development of liulin town was not only reflected in the numerous trade houses, but also in the ceramic industry, grain market, water mill industry, printing and dyeing industry, pawn and loan industry and other industries.Sanquan town is located in the southwest of fenyang county, because of its special geographical location,it has become a major transportation hub connecting many surrounding areas. In addition to its wide range of businesses, the town also has frequent market activities and a special market area. The development of fen prefecture in qing dynasty was not only related to the local unique regional environment, but also benefited from the gradual recovery and prosperity of the social economy. At the same time, the role of "jinmeng oil road" can not be underestimated. The trade route between Shanxi and Mongolia, which runs through the province of fen, links the prefectures and counties more closely, thus promoting the frequent exchanges of internal commerce and trade, and promoting the development of inter-governmental and inter-provincial economic activities. The commercial route was further improved in the qing dynasty. The continuous improvement of traffic conditions and infrastructure attracted many businessmen to stay here, and the number of commercial brands in fenzhou prefecture also increased. The prosperity of qikou and xiangyang towns benefited from this. With the development of town as the background, many changes also took place in fenzhou local society in qing dynasty. At the same time, these changes have promoted the further development of the town. The development of cities and towns has led to the two-way flow of commercial population in the region. This flow mode not only strengthened the economic ties and cultural exchanges between several counties within and outside the government, but also in turn promoted the economic prosperity of fen prefecture. The development of the town also makes the local fairs and temple fairs more and more frequent, not only increasing in frequency but also extending in length. This is a new challenge to the old town management system. At this time, the public took an active part in the management of economic activities.Through the readjustment, the town activities can be carried out in an orderly way and the commodity economy can continue to develop. The case of grain hoarding in dujiuyu town, xiaoyi county, during the daoguang period shows the power interaction among different social groups in the town.As the manager and the managed of the economic activities of the town, the local government and the businessmen are always in a state of game.Even so,businessmen are still the main players in town activities,so this group is bound to have an important impact on local society. As the number of the growth, the overall strength of the merchants is also gradually improved. They are not only the main body of commercial activities, but also important participants in local social relief, public facilities construction and cultural undertakings. These activities have won them more popularity and voice in the local area, thus strengthening the influence of this group.
