The aim of the present study is better understand the prosodic words(PW), prosodic phrase(PPh) and intonational phrase(IPh) in Mongolian and three acoustic features (1) pre-boundary F0, (2) pre-boundary duration and (3) boundary pause were used to discriminate the hierarchy of the prosodic boundaries. The main attention is paid to search for the possible correlation between (1) prosodic words and laxical words or laxical phrase, (2) prosodic hierarchies and acoustic correlation and (3) prosodic hierarchies and linguistic clues.
