Heidegger's reflections on science and technology are in different ways. His reflection on science is very detailed, while the reflection on technology is very profound. To reasonably combine these two kinds of reflection which seem to be different together brings out a unified understanding. It is helpful for an integrated understanding of Heidegger's thoughts. The study in this article is based on Heidegger's thoughts of the existential-ontological, and is evolved using the phenomenological-hermeneutics methods. These basic horizon and study methods are relatively creative in current philosophy research, and hopefully to bring some new fruits. The basic route of Heidegger's reflection on technology problems is analyzed in the first part of this article, and from this analysis comes out the basic horizon of his argument—the realm of revealing. Then, the basic route of Heidegger's reflection on science is analyzed, and the essence of science is utterly understood: the essence of science is the theory of the real. For demonstrating the mode of revealing of modern technology through the essence of modern science, the connection of modem science and technology is investigated by using the phenomenological-hermeneutics methods, and the character of revealing of modern science—challenging revealing—is revealed. In further analysis, the work above is defined as the demonstration of the revealing character of modern technology through the essence of modern science. In fact, it is the demonstration of the narrow sense modern technology, which is based on the character of revealing of modern science form the point of view of "the reveal of the real by man".The core of this article—the essence of technology as the essence of science—is discussed in the 4th part. The basic mean of the "Bestand" used by Heidegger is pursued, go further, we exposit that the unconcealment of the real revealed by science is also has the character of Bestand. Heidegger had argued that the kind of unconcealment of the real revealed by modern technology has its own standing—Bestand, so we get our conclusion—modern science and technology have same essence. An undeniable point in this process is that, we applied an unjustified assumption. This assumption is based on such a fundamental interpretation: dasein and the real are both beings, they must have something in common in the point of view of fundamental ontology, and must have something in common in the ontological structures. This is a profound fundamental problem, and the author has not completely solved this problem in this article. So, the author takes it as an assumption temporarily. For a more reasonable result, the limitation of science is also discussed in this article. In fact, Heidegger has already put forward our result explicitly. However, Heidegger has not justified this point of view. So, the justification becomes the author's task here. The discussion goes further in the ending part of this article. The common essence of modern science and technology—Enframing—is discussed in this part.
