The Essence, Accuracy And Conciseness For Translation Of Science And Technology Article: Reflections On The Translation Of Harmony

The principle of practical writing is essence, accuracy and conciseness. It is the same requirement for practical writing translation. Based on the three requirements, how to translate exactly is discussed at first, besides, some skills of terms and fixed terms translation are analyzed. Secondly, the translated context shall meet the reader s reading habit, and the context of target language is the first priority to finish a quality work. At last, considering the artless character of science and technology literature, simplify modifier is a suitable measure. The translation work is analyzed from mentioned three principles. Some translation skills and experiences for science and technology literature are shared in this paper.
