The marketing system of the series films of"Star Wars"is mainly formed by the two channels: one for the dissemination of information and another for the business channel of the products. The convenient flow of the information dissemination channels are the basis of the product operation. Product business is the core content of the dissemination of information. Information dissemination channel is mainly composed by the producer and consumer. The communication between the two products is concurrent. Products business is mainly made up of the film production, distribution and screening, every of them may decide directly to the film marketing.The main marketing strategy of the series films of"Star Wars"is embodied in the following four aspects: the film promotion, brand marketing, the post-film marketing and international sales and marketing .Among them, the marketing and sales of the brand and the post-film are the two prominent aspects of the series film of"Star Wars"s marketing. The strategy of the sequel film and the high-concept strategy form the brand of the"Star Wars", while the creative development of the post-film products brings the far-reaching influence for the marketing of the Hollywood movies.The marketing thinking of the series films of"Star Wars"mainly includes the analysis for audiences, the media and the market. The audience in film marketing , as a commodity, decoder and different individual , the triple identity provides the new ideas and methods for films marketing. Film market will also change because of audience demand, but the change would not lead to the decrease of the film market share .On the contrary, the change is the performance of the mature and expand market. Media competition leads to the naissance of the digital blockbuster, and the integration between the media promotes the propaganda and screening of the films.Above full analysis of the three aspects, in light of Chinese film marketing status, compared with the marketing experience of the"Star Wars", this paper, at last, attempts to find some suitable marketing methods and means for the Chinese film.
