A Study On Taiker's Culture From Popular Culture's Viewpoint

In contemporary society, popular culture play an important role in people's lives more and more, it is not only providing entertainment for people, but also becoming people's behavior and lifestyle. As a popular culture, Taiker's culture is in fashion now in Taiwan. It is having a significant impact on Taiwan people's life, but the research on Taiker's cultural from academic perspective is not over. Depending on combinations of theory and concrete evidence, from the perspective of popular culture, this paper start the study of Taiker and Taiker's culture. As an exploratory research, this paper not only enrich the regional study of popular culture, but also pay close attention to Taiker and Taiker's culture from academic point earlier.We must admit that Taiker's culture is a kind popular culture. This paper consists of following contents: First part is introduction of theories which have relationship with popular culture and Taiker's culture. Second part is introduction of the history and present conditions of Taiker's culture, including the historical background that Taiker come into being, Taiker's composition and classification. Third part, admit that Taiker's culture is the popular culture that performance by Taiker's body. Analyze Taiker how to show their qualities of popular culture, explained from the language, dress and behavior mainly. In the course of explaining Taiker's uniquess, also analysis of the uniquess which played a role on the distinction between groups. At last, From different perspective explained the Taiker's culture that as a popular culture.Study found that the meaning of the "Taiker" has been a new change, the composition of Taiker's group is deversity; Showing popular by body, the form of Taiker's culture is far higher than its contents, by external of Taiker's group, the character of Taiker's culture is emerged, also distinguish with other groups automatically; "Taiker" is no longer a single term, but a kind popular culture with varied directivity, It means a kind consumer culture , the labels of art, the fous of media, even the representation of Taiwan's local culture.
