With the multiplization of international politics, informatization of social life and globalization of economy, foreign language plays a more and more important role in international communication, which is also very important and necessary for college-entrance examination, further education abroad, as well as job application. Therefore, foreign language education has already become part of national quality education, and the cultivation of foreign language talents is focusing on multi-language and inter-disciplinary talents.Since the 1980s, Japanese has already been one of the required courses for Chinese middle schools, which is quite necessary for cultivating diversified talents, promoting political, economic and cultural communication between Japan and China, improving mutual understanding, especially among teenagers.Japanese Course Standard for Full-time Compulsory Education issued by Education Ministry in 2001 and Senior Japanese Course Standard made in 2003 both mentioned having a second foreign language in middle schools. It's not suitable for Chinese to have only Russian in the 1950s and now English. In my opinion, English should be the first foreign language for Chinese middle schools, but in some areas where there are facilities, we also need to have other foreign languages. Such as Japanese, which is sure to benefit both the learners and the country. It's necessary and possible for students to choose a second foreign language apart from English, and it surely makes great significance for their Long-team and all-sided development.Due to the improvement of English teaching in the late 1990s, English became a hot subject all around China. In addition, Japanese in NMET has been harder year since 1995, and the number of colleges which enroll Japanese Learners decreases, thus leading to a great decrease in Japanese Learners both in junior and senior schools, which is completely against the situation of international Japanese Teaching and Sino-Japan relationship. How to improve Japanese Teaching and promote the development? With these questions, I had a survey using advanced experience from both home and abroad and came up with some ideas and tactics in the hope of drawing attention to Japanese teaching in middle schools, aiming to promote Japanese teaching of our school. The method of writing this essay is based on nature as well as amount study, while the measure is interview, reference to other papers and questionnaire. There are five chapters in all, summarized as follows:â… . Preface, including the presentation of the problem, the goal and sense of the study, contents, method and procedure, with a brief introduction to the topic, the theory of the study, and available measures both theoretically and practically for the authorities to adopt.â…¡.
