Jade art is a very important kind of Chinese traditional ornament, it contains Chinese traditional culture and ethic ideas, and its development and way of change kept step with Chinese culture, Han dynasty was the strongest and richest period at that time, jade art got its top as well, and jade of Han Dynasty is almost the pronoun of jade art. The special sense of quality of jade and the incredible carving skill made jade art have high value of beauty appreciation. To research jade art, is a way to learn Chinese traditional ornament, I wrote this thesis just for getting the way, by researching the pattern and shape of Jade of Han Dynasty.
