Shaping is a special language that spreads the cultural charm through substances shaping,and is always arts’ endless exploration of "beauty". Here I want to mainly exposit the beauty of the shaping of beast-shaped dragon pattern in the Han Dynasty jadeware,and to explore its influence on modern design.The dragon is very with Chinese characteristics,in the long history Chinese civilization, many emperors and nobles, historical events, arts and crafts, language and literature are dragon-related, and plays a very important role in the fields such as politics, culture, religion, art. The dragon undoubtedly becomes the most symbolic symbol of Chinese civilization. The specific cultural environment gives each age unique aesthetic thoughts, and the dragon shaped on various artifacts became the classical theme throughout history. This paper is divided into four chapters, Chapter one is a introduction part, Chapter two is the symbol of dragon in the Han Dynasty jade ware, Chapter three is the formation and characteristics of the shaping of beast-shaped dragon pattern in the Han Dynasty jade ware, Chapter four is the aesthetic orientation of the shaping of beast-shaped dragon pattern in the Han Dynasty jade ware and its influence on modern design.The full text puts forward some insights by analyzing the shaping of beast-shaped dragon pattern, that only on the basis of carrying forward Chinese national culture to absorb foreign culture, we can create the combination of nationality and modernity of art, so as to promote the development course of Chinese art.
