In the modern sense, the health means not only the physical health but also the psychological health. Mental health is a prerequisite for modern personnel. With the development of society, the status quo that developing higher education not meet the practical needs of society makes higher education system undergoing a slow but profound revolution, so the higher vocational education is rapidly rising, and also there is a big difference between the higher vocational institutions and the general Universities such as the mode of instruction, training objectives, the students structure, so the institutions of higher vocational education has becoming a unique, a new type of education. Vocational student is not only a part of college students but also a part of the social group; it has its uniqueness, and also psychologically different from the university students and community groups in the performance.Compared to many developed countries and regions, Mental Health Education of Chinese Vocational College Students is just at the beginning, with little experience and the system is less than perfect. At present, there are also many defects in this field, such as many people are still not thinking higher vocational education as an importance thing, the materials of education is unscientific, the system is not perfect, the methods is not standard, and the results is also not so good. This paper investigates Chinese Vocational College student mental health problems and corresponding countermeasures in the new era from the following three aspects:Part I: Summary of the purposes described topics, the status quo of mental health education and research at home and abroad, as well as mental health-related concepts defined. Mainly focus on the essence and the scope of mental health education, as well as mental health standards of the students in vocational colleges.Part II: Focus on and analyze overall mental health status and the main problems of the contemporary students in vocational colleges, the mental health issues of poor students, as well as the impact factors of the mental health of students in vocational colleges. Most importantly focus on the education models and weak aspects of Mental Health Education of Chinese Vocational College.Part III: According to the mental health issues of students in vocational colleges, the status and shortcomings in practice of mental health education in Chinese Vocational College, put forward the countermeasure and strategies, and with flexible and diverse education models to construct and improve the system of Mental Health Education in Colleges and Universities. At the same time, forecast the development trends of mental health education in the Vocational College.
